Negative scanning

Talk Design & Print now offer a complete scanning service for negatives, 35mm slides and photographs. Our basic service includes digital ICE dust and scratch removal and we will scan your images at print ready resolution. We can offer an additional specialist service to edit or repair photographs which require a designer or print large size photographs from your slides and negatives.

To scan your negatives and slides to JPG format we do this manually with a specialist to ensure your original photographs are kept safe. Please note that all scans are uncropped

35mm Slides and 35mm negatives scanning

We have a minimum charge of £40 for this service which includes the first 20 35mm slides scanned to JPG and copied to a CD or DVD disc. Additional scanned 35mm slides or 35mm negatives are scanned in at £2 each per image.

Medium format (large) negatives scanning

We have a minimum charge of £40 for this service which includes the first 10 medium format negatives scanned to JPG and copied to a CD or DVD disc. Additional scanned medium format negatives are scanned in at £2 each per image.

Scanning to TIF file

To scan to TIF then please add £0.50 to each image to be scanned. Please note that TIF files can be very large and take a long time to load on your computer. Therefore we would recommend TIF files are used for print and JPG files for screen browsing.
