Royal Mail postage changes
Have you noticed that Royal Mail have split the ‘packet’ price into 2 new bands of ‘small parcel’ and ‘medium parcel’ from April 2013?
OLD - Packet was for all parcels with dimensions greater than 250 x 353 x 25mm and was £1.92 2nd class (up to 750g)
NEW - Small parcels have dimensions of 350 x 450 x 80mm and now cost £2.25 2nd class (up to 1kg)
NEW - Medium parcels have dimensions of 460 x 460 x 610mm and now cost £4.40 2nd class (up to 1kg)
If you are sending our mailers it's worth considering the design of the piece to fit in the packaging that works most efficently cost wise. Also for large quantity postage it's worth considering alternative suppliers who can offer more attractive rates. For more information or help with mailing campaigns then please contact us.
